Special Message

2022 Oxford Wine & Craft Beer Festival Attendees:

First, let me say thank you for your patience with us while working through
very important decisions regarding our festival this past Saturday May 21st.
As you all know our festival is a “rain or shine” event …with that said,
yes we do and always have gone on with the festival if it rained.

However, this year mother nature took a turn for the worse. With tornado
warnings out, lightning, and heavy rain and winds we were forced to make a
decision regarding the safety of all! We looked at the weather and discussed
with the Oxford Police Department on site for the event and with the radar
we were seeing at the time, there was more bad weather to follow so they
said we should “shut it down”.

We realize many of you came up after the weather had passed and found us
tearing down and did not get to utilize your tickets. We know how
frustrating this was-our 6 months of planning and an event that brings our
community together was shut down before it even really began.

As you know this festival is held by the Oxford Chamber of Commerce which is
a non-profit organization and a large part of the festival proceeds go
towards giving out multiple scholarships to our local Talawanda students. We
are so grateful for all of you that purchased a ticket and our volunteers
that help us make this happen. We know this was a disappointing end to the
day but we will continue to bring exciting and heartfelt events to our town
with your continued support. Please know we are so grateful to each of you
for all that you do to make Oxford an incredible town to work, live and

In addition to the Oxford Wine & Craft Beer Festival, we look forward to
seeing you at our future community events:

  • Oxford Music Festivals on Thursday nights
  • Red Brick Fridays
  • Dog Days
  • New – Fall Festival (details tbd)
  • Oxford Holiday Festival
  • Oxford Wine & Craft Beer Festival – Save the Date “Saturday, May 20, 2023”

Again, we appreciate each one of you and all you do to make this the Best
Ohio Festival out there and what it does to help our local Talawanda high
school students.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to reach out.
